2006 Nissan Micra VISIA review from Finland

After nearly six months, absolutely nothing at all. As it should be, but often is not!

The car has been a very pleasant surprise, it is my wife's car, but I often use it in preference to my Mazda 6.

Firstly, despite being small on the outside it does not feel small inside, plenty of head room, a good driving position and nice high up view of the road.

This is the revised model and the seats, soundproofing and equipment are much improved on the early models we tried.

Enormous fun to drive as it has a lot of personality, and seems eager for work.

Sliding rear seat which makes the boot bigger is a very useful feature, turning circle makes it the easiest of cars to park.

Headlights amazingly good.

Plenty of cubby-holes for storindg odds and ends,heater may be rather lethargic though,not a good omen in an arctic country.

Only one drawback: Because it is small it excites the inferiority complexes of some male drivers-does it remind them of something? So you may encounter psychotic or impotent based behaviour if you overtake them or hoot etc. Need I say more...

Engine will go ok as it's 80hp and under a tonne in weight,needs revving as not very much torque.Very fine fuel economy 6litres/100 mixed and I like to drive it fast!

An excellent second car, very good as a main car for single person or couple.Excells in towns but very alright for longer trips-It gets taken to our country place frequently and that is a 100kms journey there and back.

Well made,good value and well worth a serious look,nice body too!
