2003 Nissan Altima S review from North America
"Don't waste your money on a Nissan, its not worth it."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The ECM needed to be reprogrammed (A recall item), The engine light will not go off...
General comments?
I recently took the car to the dealership for a recall to be done, The ECM needed to be reprogrammed. Prior to going to the dealership, I never had a problem with the car. Since the recall was done, the car has been back to the service department for a sensor that just so happened to go out the very next week that they fixed the recall problem. Now the car is supposedly fixed, but the engine light will not go off... What a Ko wink a dink. Now my wife is refusing to drive the car with the engine light on and she is driving my new dodge charger until such a time that I decide to give Nissan some more of my money. I think this is ridiculous and not coincidental. I think that it is time to go ahead and cut my losses now and take the car and trade it in for another dodge and cut all ties with Nissan vehicles...
