2001 Nissan Maxima SE 20th AE review from North America
"Nissan will never get another penny from me!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Problems I had SO FAR with my Maxima:
1. TPS Sensor needed replacing
2. 3 O2 sensors needed replacing
3. Clutch went at 100,000 KM
4. Front headlight out
5. Audio controls on stering no longer work
6. Cheap Leather seats are cracking
7. Seatbelt needed to be replaced
8. Reverse lights no longer work.
General comments?
I purchased this car from a Certified Nissan Dealership due to fears of buying a lemon from some sleezy sales guy. I would have been better off buying from a private dealer! Sales and service at Nissan is terrible. Performance of this car is good, but not worth the repair bills. Nissan electrical sucks. Due to the extremely poor customer service and constant mech/elec problems, I would never again buy a Nissan.
