1992 Isuzu Rodeo review from North America
"Not worth the cost..."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Exhaust manifold cracked in half at the engine block. Broken bolts all over the exhaust system.
Rear wheel seals on both rear wheels started leaking about 80,000 miles...
Borgwarner transmission "whines".
Starter went out about same time.
replaced the clutch, also about the same time.
General comments?
It's been a good truck overall. It's very low on power though. Trying to pull a single axle trailer on the highway empty. You have to keep it to the floor to keep 70mph... and if you have the two wheel drive... DON'T EVER TAKE IT OFFROAD! You will get stuck!
The one thing I have liked about it the most... it's easy to work on yourself... all right on top, straight forward.
