1994 Nissan Pulsar 1.6LX review from Australia and New Zealand

"Its a great car full stop."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The car was in good condition when I bought it on the 7/12/2005. It still is, but really about the only problem is me I'm a very fidgety person.

The dash face is very fragile if you pull apart a lot (easily crackable) mine has a small crack in it and the air vents are lose not screwed in cause screw holes are threaded and most the screws are lost.

I have this annoying rattle in the centre air vents from the vibration of certain revs. I don't know what the cause is, but it has dyed down a bit.

Got some deep swirl marks in the bonnet its kind of like someone has used some steel wheel that I can't seem to polish out, but it is still very shinny and is only reconisable when you look at it at certain angles and certain light annoys me, but I can live with it could be worse.

That's all the annoying stuff I think.

General comments?

This is my first car and I do think I made a good choice its turned me in to a Pulsar-man I would get another pulsar for my next car.

The n14 has been the structure for models afterwards its like they've just been upgrading it. I park mine next to the lastest pulsar n16 and I can see the resemblance.

I really like the look of it I think it was the best car you could have gotten for under $20 000 for its day. It has a nice design.

The engine has all the power I need and has been trouble free. Never not wanted to start. It also sounds great with a bit of an exhaust tip.

I like the fabric used on the door trims and seats it blends in well and is in good condition. The seats are pretty comfortable. The air condisishing is cold.

Overall this is a good first car if you find one in good condition get it. Be the envary of your friends. I intend to keep mine for as long as possible.
