"This SUV needs constant service"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
O2 sensor went bad with only 65 miles on it. 2 days after I bought it brand new off the showroom floor.
2 weeks after I brought it home I noticed that it was sitting crooked. The torsion bars were not adjusted correctly from the factory.
Transfer case developed a leak at 22,000 miles. Seals had to be replaced.
Hazard light switch stopped working.
On-Star unit had to be replaced.
Oil cooler lines had to be replaced at 25,000 and 45,000 miles.
Rear tail light had to be replaced because it kept filling up with water.
Hood hinges had to be fixed because they made banging noises while driving.
Radiator went at 39,000 miles.
GPS sensor for On-Star had to be replaced.
It leaks on the passenger side when it rains, but no one can figure out why.
Distributor cap went bad at 19,000 miles.
General comments?
It rides pretty good for 4 wheel drive SUV.
The brake pads last a long time. With over 46,000 miles on it the original pads still look good.
The gas mileage is pretty poor for a 6 cylinder.
The 4 Wheel drive system works very well.
