1990 Honda Accord LX Coupe review from North America
"The best car ever made is the Accord"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced gas tank at 250k miles.
Rear panel around wheel area began to rust at 180k miles, minor body work with fiberglass or Bondo filler.
Replaced main relay at 100k miles and 240k miles.
Replaced the radiator at 220k miles.
General comments?
This automobile is really a reliable mode of transportation. I have driven it throughout the U.S. from California to Maine and from New York to Florida on an annual basis at extreme temperatures, cold New England winters during Christmas and hot Arizona summers during July 4th.
It handles 70 mph like a charm with the quick ability to pass at 85+ mph. The steering feels smooth at high speed. The engine revs calmly at 2700 rpm while going the Interstate speed limit.
