1998 Chevrolet Blazer LT review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My 99' LT Blazer started to make a very strange "clunk-clunk" grinding noise, of sorts about 2 months ago. I recently had it towed to a Chevy dealership where they proceeded to tell me I need new wheel bearings at $450.00 a pop, not including labor! It has 138K miles on it, mostly highway (Southern CA to Northern CA). I am looking to find just the bearing itself; Not the hub assembly. A friend of mine says the hub assembly does not need replacing, just a new bearing. Does anyone know where (on-line or auto parts store) I can find this? Please let me know. aclark02@ gmail. com.
Thanks,
Amanda.
