1999 Kia Sephia Base Model review from North America
"Awesome car, takes a beating and is still alive!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A battery at 65k miles.
Transmission at 60k miles (transaxle seal leaked all the fluid out & locked up)
General comments?
I worked at a dealership and this car came in on low trade, it was t-boned, rolled and basically they bondoed the roof together, but it ran like a champ.
I've driven the crap out of it (racing down dirt roads, backwood trails for camping, street racing etc). After owning it over a year, all I've done to it was oil changes and it's still kickin.
I paid $300 for it with a clear title, I did buy another rear d/s door (was t boned) cost me $700, then I spray painted the whole thing black and put some fog lights on the hood. I'm set to go!!
I'm a certified mechanic, and this car will take a beating! I would definitely buy another one.
