It is a large, tall, heavy 4x4 with an average engine not an F1 car.. you should try driving a 2.4 petrol LWB frontera, now theres a life threatening ;)

I have an 02 2.9 TD Musso as a work vehicle, and it's a tank!

Faults? None.

Spares required? None.

Had tyres, brake pads, lots of oil changes and lots of diesel.

Men I work with mostly have Pajeros (soft, troublesome and slow by comparison). Any time they get in with me, they can't believe how rapid it is and how good it pulls a heavy trailer. I hope people keep slating the Musso's, as it means I can keep quietly plugging along under the radar in mine. I've had Landcruisers, Fourtraks and Land Rovers in the past. I'll keep the Musso.

BTW, every mechanic and MOT tester I know says the same - "great engine in them Mussso jeeps".
