2012 Lexus ES 350 3.5L
Summary:
I would purchase it again and again and again
Faults:
The only issue I've had that wasn't normal wear and tear was a clip for one of my brake pads broke and the pad fell out, and ultimately gouged the rotor good enough that I decided to replace it.
General Comments:
It's been the most reliable daily driver I've ever owned. Very little maintenance, very smooth ride, very quiet ride.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Add the RX series of crossovers. A short while back my friend's wife had one and while driving on the interstate, the cable that holds the full-size spare tire under the vehicle completely snapped and the tire let loose on a road where motorists are traveling at high speeds. Luckily this happened at night when there wasn't a slew of other vehicles behind her.

No, you wouldn't, because the Lexus would kill you in an accident.
2012 Lexus ES is a DEATHTRAP.
Check out the small overlap crash-test footage from the IIHS. The ES was the WORST performer in the test.
Lexus can't make safe cars.
