2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 2.3 turbo

Faults:

1. Gad seven light bulbs run out.

- head light

- taillight

- dash

- interior light

- some of those burned out more than once.

Dealer replaced them in no time!

Couple of flat tires (I guess my fault, drive like crazy).

- A/C fan broke twice. (still under warranty, dealer replaced it).

Car is awesome, I love it so much. Many times I would be doing 80KM then all the sudden I am doing 140KM. Can't really feel it. Braking is excellent and the car is solid like a rock!

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Your car is supercharged, it doesn't use a turbo. How anybody cannot know this about a car they supposedly own really amazes me.

An excellent sports car with luxury car amenities

General Comments:

Excellent handling car.

I wish I could afford to buy another one so that my wife and I could each have one.

I have one and I love it. The convertible option at the push of a button is very easy and convenient. Limited trunk space is the only downfall of the hide-away top.

I just bought a 2001 six speed sport package white/charcoal slk320 with 45K miles, one of the nicest cars I've ever driven, it drives & looks brand new having been owned by a Tampa DR & only used locally (I live on the Gulf Coast west of Tampa) - the only drawback is trunk space as I only drive the car with the top down. My only other concern is how much time & $ it's going to take to keep the car in this condition and who to trust to work on it. From what I've heard & read MB dealerships are not the place to go for service. Thankfully the guys I got the car from have connections with certified MB mechanics, but I still have my reservations. Any comments from anyone?
