Starter motor had to be replaced twice, covered under dealer warranty.

Rainwater leaking in through cable hole seals in bulkhead at drivers foot well, sealant used to repair worn seals.

Rainwater leaked in through roof & bodywork seals, which is an expected convertible problem. Dealer recommended 'Fabsil', a brush on roof sealer, had no problems since.

Interior carpets mouldy & needed replaced, as a result of the rainwater leaks.

Steering & suspension - ongoing clunks from both that dealer can't find or repair.

Rear dampers needed replaced.

Clutch Mater cylinder, leaking needed replaced.

Paintwork cracked - needed re-sprayed.

The V8 engine rumble & exhaust note on start up never ceases to raise a smile.

The smell of the leather interior & the dashboard's looks heighten the driving experience, exactly what a sports car interior should be.

This is a car for life. Take care of it & it will last - No problem would make me part with it.

The bodywork design is a sculptural symphony, only appreciated when hand polishing over the undulating curves.

Major leak on driver side door seal- foot well carpet drenched every time it rains!

Bits of trim fall off.

Interior door release failed.

Boot release very sticky.

The build quality is quite poor. you can see lots of glue on the carpets and the dash board. It is a fantasticlly designed interior, just a shame that the build makes it look tacky.

When you start the engine however I'd forgive the car anything. This is a rocket ship on wheels. You don't have to race people at traffic lights because you just know that you would destroy them. The sound from the engine is just amazing. I love driving into multi story car parks, everyone stops to see what the noise is.

This performance does come at a price however. You can literally see the fuel gage going down each time you press the throttle.

My previous car was a Lotus Elise. As much as I loved it, it just can't compete with this. This was the only car I could ever imagine replacing it with. I can also now get my golf clubs in the enormous boot.

Only a couple of minor things, the windscreen wiper motor needed replacing along with the oil pressure gauge - both under warranty.

From the moment I drove it out of the show room the car has just got better and better. Yes it's had a few annoying little problems, but the sound of the engine, the handling and performance out weigh any such gremlins.

I've been bitten back once in the wet, a quick spin by over use of my right foot! I was warned to respect it in the wet however.

In the dry nothing can beat it especially on an open country road.

Other than that I use it every day, with a fuel consumption better than my V6 Golf and a boot big enough for 3 sets of clubs it's brilliant.

Leaks, all over - boot, doors and floor.

Speedo packed in.

Radiator replaced.

Windows keep blowing fuses.

Clanking noise on tight slow turns.

Bonnet fell off, due to corroded pop rivets on a hinged bracket.

Despite all dealers efforts, including skimming the discs, you had to be Garth to apply the handbrake.

Shock absorber changed.

Interior door opening device constantly malfunctioning.

Great looks, V8 sound, super performance.

But all of this is outweighed by the never ending niggles and dealer rip-off costs.
