Very, very underpowered. breaks are horrible. Sound system is garbage. Body panels are paper thin, get ready for lots of dings. No aftermarket parts available because its only canadian made. Great on gas. never paid more than $25.00 cdn to fill the tank at $0.70 a litre. when the car is loadedwith 5 people, you can actually see the gas needle drop before your eyes. Very hard starts when the gas is under 1/4 tank. Car is ideal for city driving and for 2 or less people. All of these things may be considered minor to most. But really botherd me when I actually got one. Theshort of the long is. This is a really great little car. But that is exactly what it is. a little car.
What do you mean by hard starts when 1/4 tank of gas is remaining?
I also notice the car is very hard starting when the gasoline is under 1/4 tank. It is important (especially in the cold winter months) to keep these "picky" Acuras above 1/2 a tank at all times. Last night, I was down at almost 1/8 of a tank and it was about -10 or -15C... my car almost didn't start. It takes a long time for it to turn over when the car is under 1/4 a tank... you have to hold the key forever, which typically isn't so good for the car. Keep gas in your tank and regular oil changes and I don't think you'll be dissatisfied with this vehicle! (Although I primarily drive myself around, and occasionally one or two other passengers. You truly do feel the car weighed down when you have more than 2 passengers.)
Aftermarket parts are all over the place... this car is just a re-badged Honda Civic and there are innumerable aftermarket parts for them.
