1997 Acura CL Prem review from North America
"Very reliable and sporty"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
New EGR valve under warranty under 75,000 miles.
New airbag under warranty under 100,000 miles.
Replaced starter at about 75000 miles.
New alternator at around 120,000 miles.
New front axles when CV boots ripped at around 150000 miles.
Wear on drivers seats.
Rust on passenger rear wheel well.
Next repairs would be brakes, timing belt, and water pump.
General comments?
This car is still running smooth, although I do not drive it hard like I used to, trying to get good gas mileage.
Trans shifts smoothly at 164k.
Next repairs will be the brakes, timing belt, and water pump.
Would love to keep this forever, but not a very practical car with a dog and trying to start a family.
