I'm possibly buying a 97 cl 3.0 with 240,000 km on it for $6000 (canadian). does that seem like a reasonable price? are there any major problems with this car I should know about?

1997 2.2, had the drivers side window fixed twice in 4 months, just broke again last week and just as luck would have it, passenger window broke yesterday. NICE. Awesome.

My Acura 3.0 CL has same problem. I bought it from a Honda dealer in 2004. I found the window of driver side goes up very slowly, so I asked them to fix it, but after only few months it goes up slowly again. Yesterday it never goes up. It troubled me so much.

I have a Honda Civic of 2001, I sold out at very low price because none of the four windows can move. I think they should redesign the power windows. Their transmissions also have some problem. I'll say bye to Honda & Acura.

I'm currently replacing the driver side regulator on my 97 Acura 2.2CL. This is the 2nd or 3rd time since we've owned the vehicle that a window has failed.

Sept--18-2009.

I have a 1998 CL with 103,000 miles on it. Two years ago I replaced the driver's side window regulator from a dealer at a rip off price.

Three days ago the passenger side window fell down -- cable snapped -- this time replaced it myself. Regulator works, but the window does not operate from the door switch. Anyone have a solution. Dealer switch is $98.00.

Sometimes it ends up being cheaper to have the dealer fix it in the first place.
