Some minor things, I am unable to list them considering it has been my fathers car, then mothers, then brothers... I will be buying it off my father shortly considering my Elentra just got smashed by a buick while being parked just 2 days ago.
Besides that, I know that the tranny is "starting" to act up...
My mother has already claimed issues, but they come and go...
So... considering the Tranny's of V6 Honda's of year 1997 to 1999 (for all I know) are 10000km trannys... Ill most ligtly have to change it soon.
(Reviews prove it, my mothers's V6 Accord has 120000km and has gotten her tranny changed... o well at least its not a 10000km tranny of chrisler :P.
Overall, besides minor things, car is flawless and with 80000km... I still call it new.
Luxery is all there.
Great Leather Seats
Digital Climate control
The wood or "fake wood" is REALLY nice.
The butt wharmers are Fantastic.
Defog on the Mirrors.
Wonderful Handling.
Quality Honda 3.0V6 of 200hp. and its plenty of power... tho... it's a high reving engin.
1 thing I don't like too much is the WIDE U Turns this car takes.
I am still considering getting myself an infinity G20 because its everything that I want.
(2.0l, 4 doors, class, and sportyness, reliability, sunroof) next to the CL that is Automatic and 2 doors.
But considering the CL has been in our family and EXTREAMLY well taken care of, considering the price I can get it for next to 17000$ (of the G20)
My pick is obvious.
Its unfortunate for my ElantraGT... it has proven itself PERFECT for my time of ownership.
Update on my review.
Honda trany on V6's of year 1998 to 2000 (to my knowledge) usually fail at around 100 000 to 120 000km.
My mothers 1998 3.0l accord got its tranny changed... check other reviews... its common.
Dad's cl got sold to one of my best friends.
He redlignes cars too much.
He put in a Ram Air filter... the car sounds Amazing and Even more orgasmic once passed the 4500rpm mark.
My father babied the car, my friend Riced it a little with a grille and additional crap inside...
To my surprise, he flored it from 78000km to 110000km
And the Transmission is still alive... that was a shock.
Overall... a fantastic car...
As the title is stating.
Rare and stylish.
I would rather have one of those babies over a BM330.
PS... my 2002Hyundai got repared... still running just like new (recommended)
