What things have gone wrong with the car?
Windshields tend to crack every 2-3 years.
Alternators last 5-6 years.
Rear window wiper stopped working at 250,000 km.
Premature rusting of all quarter panels. Repaired at 200,000 km.
Rocker panels were replaced due to excessive rust at 250,000 km.
Both outer tie-rod ends need replacing every 40,000-50,000 km.
General comments?
The car has good acceleration for an automatic. The transmission is the original and is absolutely flawless and extremely reliable. Original engine still working great. Never needed to add oil in between oil changes until 285,00 km. The rear passenger area is cramped, and the front seats could have been bigger. It handles very well at all speeds. It is fun to drive at highway speeds. Can hit 180 km. with little effort.
