What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since I've Owned:
Cam-Shaft Seal Leak (Fixed with RVT Compound) 15$
Cracked Distributor Cap, Rotor, Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs, Plug Wiring, at 114,179 $150.74.
Exhaust pipe from header to Cat bad at 114,727 $186.84.
Tape Deck Went at 112,921 (upgrade to CD) 150$
Automatic Transmission Shift-Lock bad at 115,000 (havn't fixed) When cold I have to wait from 2 - 15 min. for it to reciginize park and then I can turn the key to remove it. (PAIN!!!)
Passenger Cabin Leak.
Tail-Light Condensation.
Climate Control buttons have to be pressed to engage.
Passenger window hard going down.
Back Speakers went at 114,000 (didn't go completely, but bad sounding)
Previous Owner:
Alternator went on 9-29-97 $269.90.
Gas Tank Rusted out 11/23/99 $57.00.
Tail Pipe and Muffler at 49,545 $73 & 56.
Drive belt.
General comments?
A Great car, yes I've had a lot of expensive problems with the car, but it's a good car to own. Fast, never dies.
I has great turning through corners
great acceleration, fun car to own.
Over 13 years only run into routine maintenance.
