1995 Acura Integra GSR review from North America
"A fun dependable sports car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The radiator needed replaced at 80,000 miles.
Air conditioner needed repair at 70,000 miles.
General comments?
The Integra (GSR model) has been a great, dependable and fun car. I purchased it in 1997 and have had 6 years of reliability from this car.
The only major repair was the air conditioner after approximately 5 years.
It was blowing cool, but not cold, so I had the condenser replaced.
For a car that is now 8 years old, it still runs as well as the day I bought it. Not only can I depend on the car, it is fast if driven as such. Gas mileage is decent, around 25 mpg in the city.
The only annoyances I notice with this car is that it is somewhat noisy. Also,
the seats aren't really comfortable, so it isn't that great for long trips (but then again, it is a sports car and not a luxury sedan).
I am sold on Acura's for their dependabiliyy. I owned a '91 Integra before this car and have just purchased a 2000 3.2 TL.
