1992 Acura Integra GS-R from North America - Comments

Purchased my 1992 GS-R in 1994 with 18,000 miles. It runs perfect to this day with 165,000. Found a desert road in 1998. Got up to 140 real quick and it was still climbing when I backed off. Just standard equipment. Once it reaches 40 - it takes off. A great car, and still great fun to this day with no upgrades.

I have a 1992 Integra GSR, and I'm amazed by it. I've raced a few cars with it - 08 Mustang GT, 08 Mustang V6, Mustang 5.0, and a new Civic Si. I raced the Mustang V6, and burnt him and it was uphill. Also I burnt the 5.0. I was about even with the new Si, but I lost to the 08 GT by about 3 cars, but I'm still amazed cause it's a 1.7 I4, and the 5.0 is triple engine.

I would have to agree with all of you. I was a V8 person till I got my 92 GSR about 8 months ago, and I love it. That VTEC is great; love the feel and sound; it's hard to keep my foot out of it, just to hear it.

I've put little into it; intake, exhaust, coilovers, removed AC, and I've even smoked Cobalts, a Pontiac G6, and couldn't even tell you how many other BS cars that just wanted to run, that didn't stand a chance. And I'm mostly factory; I've done some mods, but not a lot yet!!! Soon a lot more...

But all muscle car peeps out there, you need to look at Honda Tuning Mag. I think it was the March issue, not sure exactly, but there is a Civic hatch in there that is running 1/4s in 7s. It is turbo, but come on now, we're talking about a 4banger running 7 secs. I'd like to see some of these muscle fanatics try and run him; they won't, they know better :) :)

What do you get when imports build bigger than 4 banger motors; you get super cars. Look at the NSX and Ferrari :).. Imports rule the road :)
