The power windows and sunroof are starting to lag.
I purchased my second car to spoil, and modify into a thrill.
I already bought the car with upgraded Tein suspension. Front strut bar, Opac exaust customly mounted, cool air intake, and a V-tech Air Flow Converter by A'PEXI.
Not to mention a short shifter.
The car also Included a fiber glass body kit, low profile toyo tires on 18 inch Alloy raceing rims.
My old 1998 subaru Legacy Limited GT 2.5 hit 0-60 in about 8.5 seconds.
My 1997 Acura Integra Hits 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds!
She is incredibly fast and I haven't touched her yet!
The car shifts beautifully.
The torque is so high, the front tires peel out when shifted into second, and third redlining.
Aswell the torque is so high the rpm's have to go under 250rpm's (under 1000 rpm's) before she stalls.
She can handle turns at about 95 mph without even understeering or oversteering.
Which concludes it as the best handling car I have driven.
A recent friend tested the car and found that my Acura with its modifications over exceeds handling of a new type R.
His car being a new Type R he could do more things in my ride than his.
My engine had a rebuilt short block, transmission and clutch. Only because the driver before me put Nitrios Oxide in it once and blew his motor. He never considered Nitrios for his cars again.
The interior glows like new after every detail. Lierally, like new.
I plan to invest $6000.00 in more performance parts suitable for my 1997 Acura Integra GSR.
I'm loving this car.
The slow sunroof and power windows should both be improveable with a spray can of silicone squeak-stop lubricant. I have had to do my sunroof 4 or 5 times over 11 years, and if I keep doing it they are as fast as new. Another help is to clean and retighten the battery terminal connections, to up the voltage a bit.
