1990 Acura Integra GS review from North America
"Nice, reliable, fun sports car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Main Relay needed to be replaced due to stalling problems caused by the faulty relay cutting off electricity to the fuel pump.
Leaking oil pan gasket needed to be replaced at 200,000km.
Clutch needed to be replaced at 200,000km.
Rear Hatch struts needed to be replaced at 180,000km.
Antenna mast needed to be replaced at 170,000km due to it binding up and stripping the teeth.
Driver's side master power window switch needed to be replaced at 210,000km due to window not going up.
NOTE: Proper maintenance schedule states that the timimg belt needs to be replaced every 100,000km and valve lash checked every 40,000km.
General comments?
Good solid car, very reliable.
Vehicle holds a high resale value.
Not very much room in back seats.
OEM parts are fairly expensive.
