1997 Acura Integra GS review from North America
"A great tuner car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since I drive my car for performance, I do REV the engine high. I have done some minor repairs like ball joints, CV boots, power antenna, etc. I purchased my vehicle used without any service records, and today it broke down on the highway, so I will be reparing the Timing belt. However, these repairs are normal for the age and mileage on the vehicle.
General comments?
I'm 19 years old, and I love my car. I bought it for the sleek looks and great performance. I've done some modificattions, such as the exhaust, euro lights, engine work- air intake.
The Integra is an awesome car to drive, with few modications you can improve the power significantly. However, please remember it is a sports car, so the ride is going to be a bit stiff. Even more rough if you put low profile tires on it. I wish they still made the Integra, the RSX does not appeal to me. I'm going to drive mine to the ground than get another one, perhaps a type R.
