1993 Acura Integra RS review from North America
"On ownership you enter the kingdom of automobile splendor"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timing belt (including water pump) replaced in the first week after purchase from a local auction.
Previous owner had car lowered and the rear suspension was way out of whack, so I had to purchase a camber kit to repair it.
As in most cases with Integra's, I also have a bad water leakage into the trunk. It floods when it rains and I have to use a wet/dry vac to clear it out.
The air conditioner currently does not work and will need to be repaired.
General comments?
Excellent acceleration when there are no passengers with me.
It handles very smoothly.
Excellent paint job. Everyone tells me I have the shiniest car they've ever seen. My car is black and is very sleek.
Since it came with an awesome sound system (well over $2000 worth) when I bought it at auction, so needless to say that driving this performance dream is absolutely breath-taking. Kudos to the Acura/Honda design team for this era of automobile superiority. Even though my car is now 13 years old, I am extremely proud to drive around Los Angeles in this machine of excellence.
