1990 Acura Integra LS review from North America
"Excellent Buy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The alternator went out at 172,000, no big issue, 300 to have it rebuilt. Regular maintenance, changed the timing belt, water pump, fuel filter at 156,000 at a cost of 600, new muffler and pipe, 500, tires 400.
General comments?
Best car I've ever owned. I fell in love with the thing at first site. Paid wholesale price on the lot, and the car has been making me happy ever since that day. Who ever owned the car before me took very good care of the car and it showed, that's one reason I had to have it. The front view of the car is what makes the car. Ride is very nice, and when it comes to power in its overall small car class, not much can touch it. The braking is very nice and the handling is awesome. The seating of the car is great. You would have to buy a sports car to ride as low. The paint is very nice still after 15 yrs. This car is the most reliable car I've ever owned. Only time it left me stranded is when the alternator went out, and that's only because I'm a idiot and waited till it went out, it gave me every inclination it was going out. If you are looking for a inexpensive car that is reliable, but still sporty, buy an Integra.
