1992 Acura Integra GX review from North America
"Unparalleled Reliability, Excellent Commuter Vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power Antenna needed to be replace at 80K. The ice in the winter is rough on the power ant.
Rear wheel bearing at 160K.
Front axle went at 180K.
Rear ABS sensor went at 90K.
Clutch died at 135K.
General comments?
This was an excellent car while I owned it. I drove it over 100 miles per day for 6 years.
It was great in the snow, with proper tires of course. I used to put studded snows on it every winter, and it ran circles around 4x4's in the snow.
The interior held up very well for 275K miles.
The brakes always seemed to be out of round, which gave a pulsing in the foot, but they worked fine.
When I traded this in for a new Lexus, I got $5500 trade. I could not believe it! If I didn't buy a Lexus, I would have bought another Acura.
It was a little tight in the passenger compartment, but I could haul a good size load with the hatchback and rear seat down though.
