The waterpump went out when it hit 199,000 miles, wheel wells have been replaced twice, other than that she has been a gem.
Is one of the best cars every made, you could drive it forever.
I've had my Acura Legend for about 7 years now, I have a 1995 Acura Legend LS coupe with the six speed manual gearbox, and this car would blow out any other car in its class, in every catagory. I give it to Acura for building a car like this, but what I'm still wondering is "why did you stop making it?"
My 1991 Legend L Sedan was the best car I've ever owned. Bought it new and had it for 10 years when a cab driver ran a red light and the car was classified as totaled. It had only 166,000 miles. Replaced the water pump on dealer's recommendation at around 150,000 (still working though). Replaced A/C around 150,000. That was it. Everything else worked beautifully and the car still looked almost new. I cried! My 2002 TL-S is a fraction of what the Legend was. Bring back the Legend!
