1988 Acura Legend Standard review from North America
"Beautifully Reliable!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Basic maintenance was all that was required.
New fuel line and plugs.
General comments?
I have owned this car since April of '07. Seven thousand miles later, and it is still performing beautifully.
For as old as it is, the fuel efficiency is still very close to what it was back in 1988, give or take a mile or two per gallon.
Sometimes you are lucky and choose a great car that far exceeds your expectations.
Sometimes you buy yourself a worthless lemon.
Even though the comparisons made by people having this same car differ greatly, you must keep in mind that the comments being made are merely a judgment of how the car works now. A multitude of factors such as how it was driven, how often the oil was changed, whether the previous owner took care of the vehicle properly, and a variety of other key points, all become a result of how you view this car right now.
Think about it; when this car was new in 1988, it was perfect. What happened to the car from then until now is the ultimate result of how it looks, feels, and performs for you today.
