Nothing.
Never have I seen a vehicle with the style, comfort, reliability and power of the Legend. I purchased it previously owned, with 56,000 miles in mint condition. Paint and leather interior are both showroom quality. The engine compartment also appears untouched. It drives better than the RL's and CL's and I plan on having it forever!
I shopped for a'92 Legend 4-dr sedan in 1999 and have enjoyed
the ride! It's been on long & short trips, but never failed
me. Yeah, it was picked up with high mileage at 131,000,
but the initial owner kept full records, which I obtained
on-line prior to purchase.
It's still humming as good as ever & I recently passed
235,000 miles... and I'm aiming for 300,000 +.
Repair items during past 8 yrs have been timing belt
and water pump change in 2004, a couple of ac/fan fuses
and front struts, one gas strut for the hood, and a recent
leak in the power steering unit, which I am monitoring.
Gas is still good at about 25/27 highway and 20-22 city, but
falls off some when ac is on, which I think was
always bit under-powered for Honda specs. Cruise control
and accessories work, altho radio antenna will not retract
fully as of this summer.
Hey! It's fifteen yrs old!
Paint work is still good, ditto electrical system
and transmission and engine are amazingly durable.
Wouldn't mind finding a bit younger Legend the next time.
Honda knew what they were doing when they intorduced th
LEGEND in the US.
