1989 Acura Legend STD (standard) review from North America
"A Legend worthy of a second chance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Engine was burning fuel so that had to be replaced.
Some rust on the driver's side door.
Center console lid broken.
Brake system needed replacement.
Cracked flywheel.
New clutch.
Air-conditioner belt needed replaced.
General comments?
Even though this was sitting in our driveway unused for about two years, I refused to let anyone sell it. It previously had the engine replaced with a 1990 engine with about 64,000 miles. It runs great now. With a few minor repairs and a coat of paint, this baby will be turning heads once again. This car moves. Great control and comfort.
