The oil pressure light came on and I pulled over and shut the car off. I started it again and it came on again a short time later. I had the car towed to the dealer and they fixed it quickly and for a more or less reasonable $270. Also clutch went out, very expensive to fix: $960 at dealer or $750 by my mechanic. Way too expensive for a clutch!!
This car runs so nice. It is a 2dr coupe, 5 speed and it is very nice and powerful. This car has every possible option on it and everything works great. Good acceleration and decent gas mileage. As a big man, I don't fit into it height-wise very well, but put the seat back and it is quite comfortable. I don't like the leather seats, uncomfortable in the summer. Trunk is also not that big. Car is very fun to drive...
I have a 1989 Acura legend and I was having a similar problem with the oil light coming on. But, in my case it goes away once the car is restarted, then I don't see it for about a week, then it comes back again. $270 sounds a bit steep, I will try to find a cheaper way of fixing it.
