1990 Acura Legend LS sedan review from North America
"Best car to come from Honda"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission slips from 2nd to 3rd gear, problem get worse when engine temperture rises.
Overheats occasionally.
Seat require a lot of attention to prevent tears.
General comments?
This is the perfect car for a first time buyer. Reponsive engine and managable fuel economy offer relativly low running costs. Finding a good non-dealer mechanic is the trick to keeping cost down.
Handles corners like any other Acura, though the steering is slightly over-assisted.
The best luxury car the can run a regular gasoline without problem, but higher octane gasoline add a little kick.
Only problems are the tranny needs to be babied and she overheats once in a while, have changed raditor and thermostat, any ideas?
