2004 Acura MDX Touring review from North America
"Love everything about it! No regrets!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Stock battery had to be replaced at 25K. This seems to be a common thing for the mdx. If you don't want to be stranded, you should just replace you stock battery with a heavy duty battery now.
General comments?
We test drove the Lexus GX450 when looking for a 7 seater SUV, and the 3rd row seat in the MDX is what got us to go with it. It's much roomier than the Lexus. Although, the Lexus does have more power, a V8 engine, I believe. But, looking back and currently feeling the pain of premium gas only prices, we are glad we didn't go w/the v8 engine!
The navi saved us many times, as does the rear dvd system for the kids on long trip.
It handles excellently and pick up is quite nice considering it's a v6.
