2000 Acura TL review from North America
"Great car bad Transmission"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
OK...So now there's a recall on the transmission. I just found out YESTERDAY..yippee. The recall only covers one transmission and it doesn't cover the transmission if the dealership puts in ANOTHER BAD ONE!!!" Swapping one piece of junk for another is not going to solve the problem!!! Why can't they FIX THE PROBLEM and then fix the transmissions of everyone who has a problem not cover it up or screw loyal customers over? I have had 2 transmissions put in my 2000 3.2 TL and the third one just burned up last week, since I'm over the 100,000 mile warranty/ Recall (which according to Acura customer care is the same thing) I cannot get another transmission. Oh and by the way I was under the warranty when I first took it to you and you, ACURA, put it over the 100,000 mile warranty when you kept it for almost 3 MONTHS to do repairs. When all you were doing was changing out one burned up transmission for another one.
General comments?
Yea a particular ACURA Certified Dealership (only one in the State wouldn't know a burnt Transmission if it fell in their laps.
