2003 Acura TL review from North America
"Great car bad transmission"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
We purchased this car and indicated that Acura/Honda has changed the transmission at 109,000 and we trusted Acura based on our experience with Honda Cars. To our surprise the transmission that Acura had replaced has failed again and after much negotiations through the dealer they have agreed to pay 33% of the cost and we are left with $2000 to pay. We have owned several Honda cars, but this Acura is the worst. Acura knows their transmissions suck and I am not sure why the government has not issued a recall. After doing Google search I would say STAY away from Acura TL.
General comments?
Excellent Car Bad Transmission. I would not buy it even if Acura offered a life-time guarantee.
