2003 Acura TL (not Type S) review from North America
"Luxurious for $30K"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really, kind of early to tell. Sometimes pushy dealers.
General comments?
Acuras are reliable. I did my research. I drove the cars - including Passat, Lex, BMW. For the price, this is easily the best car for the buck, and highly reliable. I did try the Type S and the tighter suspension wasn't it for me... if I wanted to race I would want a Integra Type R. Super acceleration. Extra smooth ride - as good as Lexsus. If anything, poor braking. The car also overturns a bit in my opionion. Very stable on curves though.
This is a very roomy car, can fit back seaters very comfy 2 six footers easily with plenty of leg room to spare. Great cup holder design. Good mirrors (back and sides) coated with anti-reflective. HID (super bright) headlights. Uses gas quite a lot in my opinion, and especially recommended premium 92. Would I get another? Yes, but I probably would have included the Type S and with the Navigation system for $4K more, making the total price of $34.
