2002 Acura TL TLS review from North America
"Excellent car. Buy only if you don't want to pay $37,000 for an ES300 or 330i, etc, etc"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing major. Bose sound system could be a little better. I'm used to the 200Watt Monsoon 8 speaker system in the Jetta, so a 5 speaker Bose system will get some getting used to. But it's very very decent. Like the 6CD in-dash changer though.
General comments?
I just got the car 3 days ago. So far so good. Rides smoother than my Jetta GLX VR6 with the sport susp. and the 17" wheels. Despite having the 17" wheels and sport susp. as well. Cabin is decently quite. I'd give it a 8.5/9 out of 10. Car looks nice. Main reason I got it is because I was tired of all the little annoying problems my Jetta had. I think I made a very good decision. I'm enjoying. :-) It's as good as Lexus with out the $37,000 sticker. As far as the reliability is concerned, it's a Honda. We have a 97 Accord with 155K and its still running very strong.
Good luck with your decision.
PS. My insurance went down $38/6mo. from the Jetta!! What a deal!! ;-)
