1993 Acura Vigor GS review from North America

I had to replace the O2 sensor at around 120,000 miles.

The main relay went out at the same time, very easy to fix.

The timing belt has been done as well.

I have been getting very very bad gas mileage — around 14 mpg whereas I should be getting 20-25mpg instead.

This is attributed to a bad thermostat, I believe — which I have yet to replace.

Oil is leaking from a seal in the 5th cylinder.

I would recommend this car to anyone.

There is nothing that would deter me from buying another Vigor, unless it was not well taken care of.

The acceleration is fairly powerful for a 5 cylinder engine — comparable if not superior to any given V6 sedan from the same era.

The braking is next to perfect, as there is nothing, but solid stopping power even with the cheap brake pads that I got.

The trunk space is gargantuan which I find extremely beneficial.

However, having a wife and baby, the back seat is horribly small for a car seat — one can only imagine how tedious it would be to have 2 or 3 children back there.

I believe the suspension on this car is phenomenal, and is equivalent to the handling of many luxury cars made today.

The vigor's design is another reason why I like it so much, as it appears fairly conservative and not outlandish, and yet it is fairly aggressive looking, and has a beautiful paint job which gets noticed everywhere!

No one should buy even a Lexus ES300 instead of this — you will not regret it.
