1992 Acura Vigor review from North America
"Irreplacable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Regular maintenance items: timing belt, CVs, ABS replaced, antenna - all in all, anticipated replacement items - very good for a luxury class car.
My local Acura dealer was fine when the warranty was in place. I will NEVER go back to dealer. They told me my car was toast, had major oil leaks, an unfixable transmission oil leak and I should unload it and buy a new car.
I was very upset, as I have loved the car, and my independent Honda mechanic said they were full of balonga. So, as you know, beware of dealers and find a good independent Honda dealer (also helps keep costs down as my car is top of the line in their shop).
General comments?
This has been a GREAT CAR. I don't know WHAT I will do when I have to replace it - as I saw in other comments - I am still on the ORIGINAL CLUTCH at 156K miles. After a car like this I know I will be over 30K for a replacement. I will drive this car as far as it will take me.
