2001 Alfa Romeo 147 Distinctive review from Portugal
"A cuore sportivo diesel"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car had several assembly faults.
Loose door rubbers
Cigarette? burned driver seat
Check panel had a permanent blank line.
All these problems where fixed by the dealer in the first month.
After seven months the car has had zero problems, except for the CD error/ changer issue.
General comments?
This is my first Alfa Romeo ever and I am still absolutely stunned.
The 1.9 115 hp engine is very good, including a bit of cuore sportivo. Low fuel consumption, no oil replacement needed at all. Perfect for lots of mileage on highways. Performs quite like a petrol engine.
It's a head-turning car, the interior is also impressive.
Handles like it's on rails, it's nice to take turns while your friends inside your car scream WHOOOAAAA.
I'm very happy with the car, to be perfect, only a 6th gear is missing.
