1993 Alfa Romeo 33 Sportwagon review from Lithuania
"True reliable "cuore sportivo""
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Exhaust rusted.
Roof window started too leak, but it is not factory made (Webasto).
Little corosion on the body started to appear after winter.
Problems with door locks on winter time.
Changed all brake pads.
General comments?
The rare wagon body by Pininfarina is a very reliable car. My father's VW Passat failed many times during these 3 years I drove my 33 each day. Didn't have any problems with engine, suspension or electricity.
Very dynamic car with superb sharp handling. Boxer engine is compact, sits lower and gives nice sound.
You need to be very sensitive with gear box, especially in the morning. Second gear is hard. I always double clutched.
Good power steering, but not so good braking. Pedals are very close to each over.
