"Fast safe and reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The power steering pump had a leak, however it is possible to replace the seals, so it was not expensive.
I blew the head gasket, but this was only because I blocked the vacuume pipe going to the ecu.
General comments?
The car is very fast, and easy to modify.
The best thing about these cars is the reliability and safety, I was in a 80 mph head on crash with my last audi (v8) soemone came down the wrong side of the road, I walked out with no injury, the other car was a 2003 mpv.
My Friend has a audi 100 2.2e which has covered 400.000 miles and it has only broke down twice (fuel pump relay and alternator.
