1987 Audi 4000 review from North America

These were the things that had to be fixed when I got the car.

Fuel pump.

Brake lines, along with a master cylinder.

Front and rear axles.

Heater core.

Rear shocks.

Great running car overall. What I like about this car is that its fuel efficient and the engine is powerful. However it's not very fast for having a 1.8 motor, but it has decent pickup from 25-70mph.

I'm pleased to say that this car only uses very little gas when I drive it. It gets around 24mpg around town, and around 31 highway. It's not a diesel or a hybrid, but its gets better gas mileage than most cars in its class.

The inside is a little on the luxury side. It shows some chrome and lots of cargo space. Top of the line front bucket seats, and a rear bench seat with a fold down arm rest.

This car is for all kinds of people with different shapes and sizes. You can adjust the seats as many ways as you need, not to mention it has heated seats. It also has a moonroof, power windows and door locks, cruise control, a light steering column, an auto dim rearview mirror, and heated mirrors.

It's a very roomy interior that will seat 4 adults; can seat 5 too, but that means 3 in the back, which is a little tight.

The trunk is unbelievably huge compared to other cars in its class. For example, it can easily fit 2 big people in it.

On this 4000s the sound system isn't bad. I have installed a CD player because it only had a tape player, which is not how people listen to music anymore. I think it has 4 speakers; 2 in front and 2 in the back.

Bad thing is that when it comes to service and maintenance on this car; it's expensive, as well as the parts, but they last a very long time. These engines can last over 600,000 miles.

I recommend this car to anyone, it's a top of the line model and will save you some gas money if you know what I mean, HA HA HA.
