Nothing has gone wrong with the car so far. Tuned it up and fixed some minute problems. It is a Twelve Year Old Car! Small problem areas to be fixed in the future. Control arm bushings, engine tappet disks (top of lifters, worn) and possibly a new windshield...ooops.
This car runs very strong for as old as it is and as hard as it is beaten. Daily bad weather driver. Other car is a 1996 Impala SS, the Audi is by far more fun to drive. Sideways around corners, loves gravel, snow and mud. It has been on two wheels a couple of times, and just keeps coming back for more. Paid $75 for it, running. It was behind a shop with the dash apart, electrical problems. I would buy another car from Audi in a heartbeat (yes, that is a pun on Chevy)

We got our first substantial snow fall (finally) this year, and the little tank just powered through the snow. 10" of it. This car encourages you to drive hard, as if a child begging you for that new toy that it saw on tv...
This car still puts a smile on my face every time that I drive the little bugger. The Impala SS didn't see a hint of snow, its about as easy to drive in the snow as a Camaro with bald tires. The Audi made its first $50 this week pulling out a stranded 'burbanite stuck on a snow drift in a parking lot. Yeah, it took a little coaxing, but the Audi popped a buried SUV (if you can call a Rav4 an SUV) free and put it on its way. I am sold on the Quattro technology. I have driven other AWD autos as of late to get more of a feel for the system. By far Audi beats them hands down. If you can get your hands on one of these cars, I would strongly suggest researching the maintenence before purchase. If you find one in A-1 shape, you have a friend for life.
