White 1983 Audi 5000s 4 door.
I had to put in a new fuel pump and had to use Bosh 4 prong plugs so they wouldn't foul from burning oil, however started every time I needed it to. Slow accleration however. After over 20 years paint still looks new.
Drinks Power Streering Fluid, and smokes a lot.
The handling is one of the best cars I've ever driven.
Very expensive to maintain, but you get what you pay for.
Would most definately reccommned an Audi, if not for its reliability, but for it's excellent handling on the road.

My poor friend, you DEFINITELY HAD NOT, the pleasure and experience of driving a PEUGEOT car...OTHERWISE...we could speak in terms of reliability & handling.
He..He..hehehheheheh.... ;-)
For me is the same thing, that car is for me the first time I pay a lot for and I don't regret anything cause I will pay always for a car like this the handling and the toughness have no comparison. Mine is a 85 without turbo and frontrak
for sure it's not a quattro, but I will find one or I will modified. If you want some tricks to performance or other things send me a message at D0ooo@hotmail.com

(I'm a technician for Audi)
And sorry for my poor english I will learn!
I've owned both Peugeot and Audi 5000. I to would like to say that the Audi is equal if not better than the peugeot. My Audi turbo diesels get better fuel econ. and also better take off than the 505 turbo diesel. My mother 505 turbo gas was a very good car, but still no better than Audi 5000 turbo gas the Audi was by far better in snow & ice.
