1986 Audi 5000 CS Sedan review from North America
"Great Car, but rather costly to maintain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Knocking noise from the rear suspension. Dealer said, that no fault was found: (
Battery went at 152.000: $70 at the dealer.
Exhaust blew at 158.000: $100 at the dealer
Torque converter replaced at 163.000: $160 at the dealer.
Alternator replaced at 165.000: $120 at the dealer.
General comments?
Great car overall.
Much better than my previous 1985 Volkswagen Quantum Sedan.
The car seems to be a bargain for the price and it features, but can be rather costly to run.
Most of the parts are imported from Germany; The dealer service is expensive and poor.
