1994 Audi 80 E S E from UK and Ireland - Comments

"Modern day classic"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I needed a new distributor at 72,000 miles.

I had new wishbone bushes and a bottom ball joint fitted at 98,000 miles.

Now needs gearbox looking at, due jerking into top gear.

General comments?

This car is the best built car I have ever had.

It's now 10 years old and it's still solid.

It's a pleasure to drive, in town or on open roads.

The style and finish still make it a head turner after 10 years.

The interior is well laid out, although

the leg room in the back could be better.

I have a 1994 audi 80 se sport there have been not real problems with it. I drive 500 miles week and this car does it with out even thinking about it. I have managed to get to 127,000 miles so far, but my father had one of these cars and he managed to get it to 200,000 miles and it was still going stronge so my aim it to beat that. but back to the car this car was built for the motorway nothing else can beat it apart from a nother newer audi maybe, but definaly if you are an average person or a famliy man this car is the one for you as it has the speed when you want it and it has the practiblity as well. so it as a good alround car. oh and in the all the years my family and I have had audi, s 80's etc only one broke down all the rest always ran, but all you have to rember is to maitian it properly e.g. oil, air filter... and it will keep on going.

I placed a comment on this site last year! I am just placing another comment about the same audi 80 se sport. this car is one of the best! audi have realy made a car to last forever. I have had my car through thick and thin! when I was skint and could not afford to run it the way is should be!, but it carried on going it started frist time it carried running strong and never let me down!. now I am back on my feet I gave the car a a good seeing to changed the oil, filter oil, air filter, flushed the engin to clean the injectors and get all the gunk out!. I went through the whole car with a tooth comb. to be honest the was not a lot to do. at 140,000 the engine is so smooth as the day it was made. I love these cars I think I will keep this car indefinatly as it is a car that just keeps goin if you want a car that will hardly ever fail buy and audi 80 a top dog car.
