Only wear item is the gearlever gaiter.
Bought for £200 on ebay from a Peugeot main dealer.
1 owner from new and came with Audi main dealer service history stamped until 2000 miles ago!
Nice and torquey engine, pretty smooth and comfy.
Engine makes a great warble type noise under acceleration.
Doesn`t feel like its tired and hopefully should last for another 100k miles.
Everything still works too.
Cheap to insure too(34 full no claims)
Well just to update on the car so far.
Now has 144k on the clock, no problems of any kind at all.
Replaced all 4 tyres with Avons and its so quiet now.
Going to change the oil soon, I`ll service it properly once the weather picks up.
Regularly see over 30mpg with a mix of motorway (80mph) and town driving.
Not using much oil, say half a litre in 8000miles.
Topped the coolant up with probably a bit more.
Only issue of any significance was water in the boot area.
This was cured with the rear lights being resealed with stickaflex.
Not gonna get rid for a while I think!
Your audi will definatly keep going for another 100,000 miles.
My audi 90 quattro has 237,000 miles on the clock! and everything works well as it ever did, apart from the head gasket failing due to electric fa not coming on.
