1990 Audi 90 sport review from Australia and New Zealand
"If it's this competitive still, how good was it in 1990?"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator brushes failed
head gasket failed at193000 km
headlining falling out.
General comments?
Love my car. Head gasket failure was a direct result of the alternator failing and not powering the electric fans. Brilliant highway weapon with pace and ability beyond its meagre 2.3 litre capacity. Fitted with 17" alloy wheels and 205/40 tyres, nylon suspension bushes and an Audi 80 strut brace the handling is great fun, and ignores the apparently nose-heavy mechanical layout.
Headlining is a bloody nuisance though...
